Torrevieja is located about 40 minutes by bus south of Alicante Airport and 40 km Torrevieja is a Spanish city located right on the coast with about 83,000 inhabitants. Torrevieja also has about 1,500 Swedes living permanently and many more Swedes who have holiday apartments. Torrevieja is an extremely popular city for Scandinavian tourists and much of this is due to the lovely long beaches Torrevieja.

Torrevieja also offers a great selection of restaurants, shops, cafés and golf courses.

With the proximity of Torrevieja to Alicante and Benidorm, you can also take the opportunity to visit one of these Spanish cities during your training camp.

HOTEL

Accommodation is at Hotel Playas de Torrevieja, which is only a 7-minute walk from the beach. The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, rooms with private balconies, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a terrace, free parking and much more. All rooms at Hotel Playas de Torrevieja have tiled floors and simple décor. The rooms have a separate living area with a TV and fridge, and a bathroom with a toilet, shower and hairdryer.

All meals are served in the hotel’s own open-kitchen buffet restaurant, which serves a good mix of local and international cuisine. The hotel also has a bar where you can relax with a drink or snack.
