What personal data is

If you choose to subscribe to inspiration and offers from Gothia Sportstravel, we collect your name and email address in order to send you emails. We collect information about how you use the mailings, which offers you are interested in and what you click on.

Who has access to the personal data
We use a number of different IT services and systems in our operations, some of which store and process personal data. We care about your privacy and the security of your data in all processing. Some systems are installed locally with us and only our staff have access to the data. In these cases, there is no transfer to third parties. However, some systems are cloud solutions or installed at the supplier and involve us transferring personal data to the supplier. In these cases, the provider is our data processor and handles the data on our behalf and according to our instructions.
Internally, we process personal data in our customer database, in our booking and sales support systems, in our customer service system and in a data management and improvement system. These systems are used to deliver the services you have ordered from us and to handle questions and customer care in connection with the performance of these services. All the personal data we collect may be processed in these systems.
You have the right to influence the collection and use of your personal data.
Personal data used for newsletters, personalisation and marketing purposes is processed on the basis of consent. You can choose to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at the contact details below. If you withdraw your consent, we will delete the personal data and cease the processing covered by the consent. You also have the right to request the erasure, completion or rectification of your data and the right to data portability.
The same personal data may be processed both on the basis of consent and on the basis that the data is necessary or on the basis of other rules. This means that even if you withdraw your consent and the processing based on the consent ceases, the personal data may still remain with us for other purposes.
