ATHLETICS CAMP SPAIN

Training camp Torremolinos on the Spanish Costa del Sol is one of the best training camp destinations in Spain. Torremolinos is an old fishing village that developed as the first destination on the Costa del Sol in the 1960s and is now a classic charter tourist resort.

Here you will find a wide range of shops and restaurants and a mile-long beach. Torremolinos offers cosy pedestrian streets lined with various restaurants, cafés and shops.

You will be staying in the centre of Torremolinos, close to everything in Torremolinos. Torremolinos is one of the sunniest resorts in Spain. Combined with fine sandy beaches and good flight connections, Torremolinos is one of the most popular destinations in Spain for training camps.

HOTEL

During your training camp you will stay at the 4-star Roc Flamingo hotel, which is only a 7-minute walk from the beach and 10 minutes from the training centre. The hotel features an outdoor pool and air-conditioned rooms with a furnished balcony.

All rooms at the hotel have a modern functional décor with wooden floors, satellite TV, a desk and a private bathroom. Meals are served in the hotel’s own restaurant, which serves a large and delicious buffet.

TRAINING

Training takes place at an athletics centre 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
There are 2 jumping pits and 2 pole vaulting tracks. There is the possibility of throwing in the afternoons but unfortunately not sledgehammers as the pitch is also used for football training.

Equipment rooms and conference rooms are available at the hotel.
