SWIMMING CAMP

Calella is a cosy Spanish coastal town outside Barcelona with 17,000 inhabitants. Calella is located 5 miles north of one of Europe’s most popular tourist cities, Barcelona. Calella is a popular destination for swimming clubs who want to go on training camps. Many clubs come here for training camps because Calella has a 50-metre outdoor Olympic pool with 10 lanes.

The pool in Calella is open and heated throughout the year for swimming camps. The swimming facility is well organised and has hosted several Spanish swimming championships, as well as hosting several national teams on training camps.

Calella has a very nice sandy beach that is 3 km long and only 100 metres from the swimming pool. Inside the old town of Calella you will find cosy pedestrian streets and alleys. Calella offers a wide range of restaurants and shops. We also recommend all groups travelling with us on a training camp to visit Barcelona during your swimming camp.

HOTEL

Accommodation is at the Sant Jordi, just 100 metres from Calella Beach. The hotel features a spa, outdoor pool and free WiFi.

All rooms at the hotel are elegantly decorated and have air conditioning and private balconies. They also have a minibar and a flat-screen satellite TV. The hotel’s restaurant serves a delicious buffet every day.

At the training camp, your training will take place in a 50-metre outdoor pool 100 metres from the hotel. There is also a large gym on site for use before, during and after your training.
