HANDBALL TRAINING CAMP IN GOTHENBURG
Gothenburg is Sweden’s second largest city in terms of population and according to the people of Gothenburg themselves, Gothenburg is the capital of football, as the city has won 36 Swedish Championship gold medals divided between 3 teams. Gothenburg is also considered by many to be the front of Sweden.
During your training camp in Gothenburg you can find many different activities. Gothenburg’s entertainment scene is a favourite for many teams at training camps with its many cosy pubs, which Gothenburgers call little London.
You can also take a visit to Liseberg. We have a large network of contacts in Gothenburg football and can offer training matches or guest coaches / lecturers with high expertise. During your training camp, you may be able to combine it with seeing one of Gothenburg’s professional football and ice hockey teams. In Gothenburg you will find teams such as IFK Göteborg, Örgryte IS, BK Häcken and Frölunda Indians.

HOTEL
Scandic Crown
You can choose to stay at the historic Scandic Crown in Gothenburg, just 200 metres from the central station. The hotel is built in a classic style and is a well-known hangout for IFK Gothenburg’s A team before their Allsvenskan home games. The rooms at Scandic Crown are modernly decorated in Scandinavian style. All meals are taken at the hotel during your training camp.
Scandic Opalen
You can also choose to stay at Scandic Opalen about 100 metres from Nya Ullevi. The hotel is one of the highest hotels in Gothenburg and is centrally located within walking distance of Nya Ullevi, Valhalla IP, Heden, Avenyn and Scandinavium. All rooms at the hotel are newly renovated in modern Scandinavian style. You will also eat all your meals at Scandic Opalen during your training camp.
TRAINING
Training at your handball camp takes place in handball halls around the centre of Gothenburg. At your training camp, we can also coordinate training matches at your camp against local handball teams in Gothenburg.
