FOOTBALL CAMP IN TUSCANY
Poggio all’agnello is a converted Italian animal farm and since 2010 converted into a full-scale travel / sports resort located in the Italian countryside in Tuscany. The resort has over 200 apartments with room for 750 overnight guests. The hotel has its own 50-metre outdoor pool for swimming groups on training camps. The hotel also has tennis courts, mini football pitches and a restaurant.
The hotel is only 2 km from the sea. The hotel is about 1 hour from Pisa airport and 2 hours from Florence airport. The Italian Swimming Federation and the Italian Triathlon Federation, as well as several international sports teams, have visited the centre for their training camps.
The whole facility is optimal for training camps.
HOTEL
Accommodation is in apartments with 1 to 5 beds per apartment. The apartments have air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, WC/shower, TV, sofa bed and more. All meals are served in the hotel’s restaurant, which serves locally produced Italian food with a touch of Italian home cooking. The resort also has a small grocery store.
TRAINING
Training takes place on an artificial grass pitch 12 minutes’ transfer from the hotel.
