ATHLETICS CAMPS

Riccione is a fantastic training camp destination located in the Italian beach town of Riccione. Riccione is centrally located in Italy about 2 hours from Bologna and only 30 minutes from San Marino.

Riccione is located in the Rimini district and is Italy’s most friendly resort. Riccione has a 6 km long sandy beach and a very nice centre. The town also has Aquafan, one of Europe’s largest water parks. Riccione’s biggest draw is sports, where it has hosted several major competitions in Athletics and Swimming.

Riccione offers several cosy restaurants with fantastic Italian food and most of the restaurants are located right on the beach.

HOTEL

Accommodation is at the family-run Hotel Poker
in Riccione, located just 20 metres from the
the beach. The hotel has a heated pool with a
cosy garden. All rooms are decorated
with satellite TV, minibar,
air conditioning, shower/WC and
tiled floors and a balcony.

All meals are taken at the hotel’s
restaurant which serves both national and
and international dishes. The food is of the highest quality.

TRÄNING

Training takes place at the city’s local
athletics centre which is of high
international class and has hosted several
competitions. At the centre it is possible to practice
all throwing disciplines on their own separate
throwing area.

The fitness centre is 1.5 km from the hotel.
