In Båstad, you’ll find plenty of activities to do and bond with the team for the coming season. In addition to hosting the world elite in tennis during the summers, Båstad has also hosted the U21 national team, the men’s national team and the women’s national team ahead of the major championships. For example, the men’s national team was here for the 2016 European Championships, the 2018 World Championships and the 2021 European Championships. Training takes place on artificial grass courts either in the centre of Båstad or just outside.

You will stay at Riviera Strand which is located right on the beach. Both the Swedish men’s and women’s national teams have stayed here for training camps. The hotel is only 100 metres from the beach.

The hotel offers a restaurant with high quality Swedish cuisine, a fitness centre, a pool table, a playroom, a ping-pong table, a swimming pool and a sauna. All rooms at the hotel are modernly furnished with 6-bed apartments. The rooms have a kitchen, fridge, microwave, WC/shower, flat-screen TV and private balcony or terrace.

TRAINING

Training at your training camp takes place on either artificial or natural grass pitches within 10 minutes of the hotel. The natural grass is of all-league quality.
