FOOTBALL CAMP MALAGA

Training camp right by the sea outside Malaga. Guadalmar is best known for its beautiful and popular sandy beach with a wide range of restaurants and beach bars. The whole area is protected as there are many different species of birds that stop here on their journey between Africa and Europe.

It takes about 15 minutes by taxi to the centre of Malaga. Malaga is a lovely Spanish coastal city with a population of around 600,000. In Malaga you will find a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops.

The area is perfect for teams on training camps who want to enjoy the lovely weather. It’s also close to the football pitch you’ll be training on, making this a favourite.

HOTEL

During your training camp in Malaga you will stay at the 4**** Hotel Sol in Guadalmar which is located by the sea. The hotel has two decent outdoor pools, a pool bar and a restaurant.

All rooms are modernly furnished with air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, flat-screen TV and most rooms also have sea views. During your training camp, you will have all your meals at the hotel’s own restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The restaurant serves a wide range of domestic and international cuisine.

TRAINING

Training during your training camp will take place on an artificial grass pitch 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. At the artificial turf pitch there is also a small café. There is also a gym at the hotel to use between football matches.
