ATHLETIC CAMPS RIETI

Rieti is often called the centre of Italy because of its geographical location in the middle of Italy.
If you go to the Piazza San Rufo in the centre of the town, there is a monument indicating the centre of Italy.
The town has an interesting historic centre with many medieval buildings and you will be staying in the oldest building in the centre.
Rieti is a very popular town thanks to the 4 Franciscan sanctuaries of Greccio,
Fonte Colombo, Poggio Bustone and La Foresta. Many people make a pilgrimage here to see
Francis of Assisi’s route past the 4 shrines.

There is also the athletics stadium Stadio Raul Guidobaldi with one of the fastest tracks in the world. 8 different world records have been set here.
IAAF Grand Prix competitions are held here every year, so the the facility is of the highest quality.

HOTEL

Accommodation is at the 4**** Hotel Miramonti, set in the oldest building in the heart of Rieti.

TRAINING

Training takes place at the high-quality Stadio Raul Guidobaldi, where you can practise all throwing disciplines in a separate throwing area.
