ATHLETICS CAMPS CROATIA

Located on a peninsula, Split is one of Croatia’s most popular cities to visit, thanks to the preservation of the older parts of the city. Split has about 180,000 inhabitants.

In Split, the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s gigantic palace is one of the most well-preserved and largest Roman buildings in the world today. In Split there are plenty of cafes, shops and squares built in the old Peristyle. In Split you are also close to sun and swimming, on the Marjan peninsula just south of the city is the Bacvice beach which is a pebble beach with both cafes and restaurants. Only a 10-minute walk from the harbour.

Outside of Split, you’ll also find a paradise for island hikers in the beautiful Croatian archipelago and a history dating back thousands of years. From the harbour in Split, boats leave for Vis, Hvar, Brac and Korcula.

TRAINING

Exercise is available at Park Mladezi Stadium, 700 metres walk from the hotel.

The facility also has a gym and a fitness centre. There is a separate throwing area so all sports can be practised.
